Suitable for any type of soil but well cultivated and drained though needs frequent watering during summer. Planting out after all risk of frost. Get the best using balanced fertilizer and taking off withered flowers. Aster is resistent to most diseases but not to the worst ones, we suggest to use a fresh seed compost and to avoid sowing in the same area for two years consecutively.
