1409 - MARJORAM (Origanum majorana)

Sowing: middle March-April in seedbeds.
Distances: cm.30 between rows.
Harvesting: Summer, during flowering.

Perennail only in mild areas, this herbaceous plants form bushes, cm.20-50 tall. Very easy to grow in window boxes too. Appreciated for its mild intense flavor it is used fresh or dried at the end of cooking.
