Sowing: in Spring with 4 gr./sq.m. in seedbeds.
Distances: after transplanting, cm.100 apart.
Harvesting: in Spring every 3-4 days.
This artichoke variety has small, oval, lightly elongated flowers buds, without spines. It is fairly late in maturity. Plants produce for over 4 years. Very diffused in the Middle-North of Italy. Remember that seeds often produce many useless plants which are not discovered until the flower heads appear.
