Turnip-rooted celery. Relatively smooth root, voluminous with crisp, dense and scented flesh. Remove foliage and minor roots then keep the head root in fresh and dark place. Use it cooked, fried or raw sliced in salads.
Sowing: late winter-early spring.
Transplantation: when the seedlings are 10-15 cm high, at a distance of about 30 cm in each direction.
Tips: For family use it can also be collected only the outer coasts, as needed, preserving the central tuft.
Seed required: 1.5 g per square meter of seedbed.
