This is a mini watermelon to eat in one go!
Plant with medium vigor development with medium-early ripening cycle. Round fruits with dark green stripes, deep red pulp.
Average fruit weight: 2 - 2.5 Kg - Degree of sweetness: good (frequently with a Brix degree higher than 10)
Transplant the plants 0.7-1.0m on the row and 2-2.5m between the rows
Piccolina produces 4-5 fruits per plant in stages and therefore allows a harvesting period of about 2 weeks. Kept cool, ripe fruits last up to 6-7 days. The gradual ripening and the healthy plant allow a significant constancy of harvesting fruits that are always well fed and therefore of a very pleasant flavor and color.

Semina: in piena terra quando il terreno è almeno a 20° C, da aprile a maggio, 3-4 semi per buca a 2 cm di profondità. oppure al coperto in vasetti, in marzo-aprile per anticipare la produzione.
Trapianto: all’aperto a fine aprile-inizi maggio.
Distanze: tra le file 1,5-2 m, sulla fila 1-1,5 m.
Consigli: lasciare in ogni buca una sola pianta. cimare il getto principale sopra la terza foglia.
Seme occorrente: 40-50 g per 100 mq di terreno.
